Does it make a difference if I have a MAC computer? How do I change my printer setting to grayscale or black and white printing only on my Canon MP 510? Help, please.

Go to file, then down to print, when the print dialog comes up click on copies and pages and go down to print settings and change from color to black and white or grayscale. Hope this helps.

I HAVE MX 300 PRINTER IN WHICH THE COLOUR CARTRIDGE FINSHES OFF QUICKLY THOUGH I DO NOT USE COLOUR PRINTING PLEASE ADVISE

You can goto printer settings and choose black and white printing only, it will be there in one of the options of your printer. If your printer has only one cartage Color, then when you rpint in black and white you are using all 3 colors to create this black and white, nothing much you can do there. But if your printer has two cartages 1 black&white, and 1 color then tell it in settings to print only black and white, hope this helps

Hi Ihave a MP-500 that prints off color.

You need a new printhead, QY6-0059-000, around $60.00. They do wear out and also plug when you use generic inks.

MP 160 IS PRINTING ONLY BLACK AND PINK COLLORS

Maintenance your cartridge with head clean or deep clean. If you don't get full colour, then change the colour cartridge.

Cartridge jammed

So here it goes: Open the cover as if you would change the cartridge. Then press the little black button I highlighted in the picture. Keep it pressed, push “copy” on the left and then the (print) black button on the right of the lcd. The printer will somehow work and work. Wait until it rests again. Then close the cover and press the black button again. Now it should copy… and print, and so on.
