I am unable to send text messages in nokia 5230 w. when i tried to send my first text message it asked me to enter message centre number but i entered any random digits after that i cant send any msgs

    What is the problem when i open the text message inbox it appears system unable to find specified object in nokia 9300?

I am unable to see new messages on my nokia 5230 until i go into the message center manually. How can i correct the settings so i will have an indicator to inform of new message

Hello,

It looks like you changed your message center number and now you can not send messages.

Contact your network service provider customer care and they will provide you with the message center number.

When you get the new center number, go to your message settings, then enter your new message center number.

Simply restore factory setting by "*#7370#" it is hard resetting so will loss all your data. First backup all data

    my nokia 5230 is not lettin me send any message it just get stuck in outbox sayin resend at a curtain time y is it doin this i restored my factory settings but it was useless still i have the same problem some1 tell me y ??

My nokia 5230 wont send text
In order to be able to send text sms's you are required to complete the settings in your sms options. You shall call the customer care and ask them for providing you the settings. Once they will give you the gateway i.e. one phone number you can enter that number in your sms settings options and you will be able to send text messages.

in the nokia 5230 phone you have to delete the inbox,sent,draft,outboxmessages so that the phone memorys gets free and you can send the messages.......

Not enough space to send text message, remove data to send
Sometimes even if your message box is full, you cannot send messages.For this you need to delete few data from your text messages and then try to send message.

I cannot send a text message on my nokia 3250. It sits in my outbox and keeps telling me failed to send.
for sending text messages :
1. call to your network operator customer care
2. request the message center number...
3.note it down
4. go to message settings>message center number
5. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

I am having the same problem with my 5230, it doesn't send txts at all. they just stay in the outbox. checkd everythng - msg centre number, refreshed, updated software. changed sims, formatted, restored...
GO TO MESSAGES SETTINGS ,AND THEN TEXT MESSAGES,AND THEN MESSAGE SENT VIA-3 OPTIONS R AVAILABLE SELECT(TEXT)

check a message setting.usually a wrong umber in MESSAGE CENTRE.also you can go to setting than choice back to factory setting by12345 code.but your data you save in pone could be missing.so back up first.

hi there,
call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options
