Remote codes are part of the universal remote, not the TV. Try the Sylvania codes in the manual with the remote. If the code is not there, the REMOTE does not have the instructions to run the TV.

you can try 000 as the universial code but other than that you would have to put the model number of the tv up as so i could aid you in finding the code
try and get a remote for your brand of tv a universial will do. take down the numbers once you have it and the tv switches off take a note of the number for the future.also check the batt .
