Over clocking MV43 motherboard

If this was damaged 'In Transit' contact the company you bought it from and they may be able to supply you with a replacement. The damage was possibly due to bad packaging at their end or damage while the delivery company had it.

This motherboard supports socket 478 cpu. This would mean it only supports Pentium 4. The Pentium 3 is compatible for a socket 370 motherboard.

So you won't have much luck.

MV43 v3.1 MOBO and it has a p4 2.4 CPU and 512 DDR 333 T

Usually the wire which has to be connected to motherboard would the purpose written on it.The motherboard also has the pin for the wire to be connected the pins are located near the IDE controller on the motherboard and the names usually be written next to the pin so all you need to do is to read and match each connection.

Hmm, thats an oldie u have there, cant find any manual for it but i think that this is the closest u can get, this is the specification of your motherboard.
