It is possible that the motor drive of the zoom lens is struck , faulty or even if the drive has failed.
So you will need to open to confirm if the lens drive is struck or if the motor or drive is faulty.
To open and check for the fault is to be done with precision as youmust not end up tampering the set. So my advice is to manual zoom as other functions are in order than to waste money on checking this out..
Hi. Just Plugin the signal cable of your HP flat screen into the VGA port at the back of your dell optiflex computer, look for a blue port on the back with fifteen holes on it and that should be your VGA port. Hope this Helps
If the disk is stuck in the drive you arre going to have open the system to get the disk out because there is something wrong with the drive. This is the downside to a slot base ROM drive.
So if you are still under warranty I would call Dell. If you are not in warranty I would contact your local repair shop.
Let me know if you have any more problems or questions
first go to device manager and see if the dvd rom is listed as a problem . if not then you dvd rom drive might be bad. if there is a disk stuck in it you can use a paper clip on the front press it in the small hole and it will pop open.
this PC does have USATA (ultra sata), there may be one ribbon going to the CD drive but youll notice therewill be 2 connectors on that cable one in the CD drive and the other free, the one that is free needs to go into the drive
If the other connector is not present then you will need to buy a sepaerate cable and install
Please can i ask that you leave feedback and vote if this has been useful
Sounds like a bad drive. But if it was me I would open the case and check to see if all cables are snug in there place (ofcourse make sure it's unplugged from power). I have seen EIDE's work them self's loose just enough to make a hard drive or CD/DVD not work. Good luck.
that gives you some info about your pc, your current graphics card wont work in your pc, it would aslo depend on how much your looking to spend on a graphics card for your machine. yours takes 16x pci express.
plz open your cabinet and check the power cable and data cable, plz try with another power cable and with another data cable, if the problem is not solved then you have to change your dvd drive
