It is pretty easy to fix if you are the least bit handy. Order what you need from Amazon or your local service center.
Or, contact your local Homelite retailer/service center directly or online here: https://register.homelite.com/sign-in
This Homelite gas trimmer runs on a 50:1 mix of unleaded automobile gasoline and two-cycle engine oil. That is equivalent to 2.6 fluid ounces (80 ml.) of oil to one gallon of gasoline or 4 tsp. (20 ml.) of oil per quart of gas, or 2 tsp. (10 ml.) of oil per pint of gas. Don't use automotive motor oil or two-cycle outboard motor oil in your Homelite gas trimmer; they contain additives detrimental to trimmer performance. Use mixed fuel within 30 days.
Hi carlfreeland...
Yes, your fuel lines can be replaced, be sure to get the right size to fit your machine.
Go to your parts supplier with the model/serial number and manufacturer of your weedeater.
Most of the time there will be two size fuel lines, the bigger one is the one the fuel filter inside your tank is connected to.

Yes. Your gas cap is clogged.Try this: The next time you run the blower, and it starts to die, loosen the gas cap. It should start to run again, then you know that it is the gas cap.
Take it back to place of purchace.
We get these all the time if its the cheap bent sharft with starter between shaft and motor. the easy start spring gets jammed and needs replacing.
