Hi peepz, folks, lads, boys girls & girls i had my Nokia 6300 fixed & updated under warranty (the shop cannot / wont help) now my 2GB micro sd Sandisk memory card is asking for a password / pin no please please please help i have over 400 music tracks & nearly as many pictures of my babies many thanx Rick.

You can recover the password. The best way is to download a file manager to your phone. I use 'Best Fileman' from http://www.smartphoneware.com/ It's for series 60 and 40. The trial version should be enough, it's only £5.60 anyway.
In the file manager you'll find under- C:\System\mmcstore -the file you're looking for, you have to rename the file- mmcstore.txt -then send it to another mobile (best way) or your PC via bluetooth, open it on the other phone and your password will be revealed.
Rename the file- mmcstore.txt -to just- mmcstore -there might be another file named- mmcstore.txt -to view your password rename one or the other- mmcstore1.txt -one is for your phone PIN number the other your MMC card.

hi. The file (mmcstore) does nt show in :C\system. Im using a nokia e65, my 6303 went in the washing machine and on the 6303 it never used to ask for password. I set a password on the 6303 a year ago and have since then forgotten it. Pls help, i have alot of music and pictures on my mmc!
best fileman doesnt want to install. Is this because i have S60-3rd edition on e65?
ok. I downloaded best fileman for my E65 bt how do i install it? It says 'installation of best fileman90.sis not supported' what do i do?
but problem is that .SIS is not supported for your mobile occures when installing on phone

I paid for the bestfileman software from smartphone.com but never received it from in either an email or disc so i had the idea to get a micro sd adapter to mini sd adapter put the memory card in my Nokia N80 & managed to format it that way but i did lose all my 35 java games & pictures but i had those on another memory card which i had forgotten about many thanks for your suggestion i know my solution is not perfect but saves on buying more memory cards Dickytricky.

i created a password for my nokia 6300 one month ago and now i forgot it... i can get into it but i must delete the password because everytime i connect it to the computer, the computer stops working and if i connect it to another phone, it asks me for a password.......so please help me find the solution for my conflict :S:S
