It sounds as if one or more of the drum supports, which are springs or shock absorbers, have become detached or are in some way damaged. You would need to take the back and top off the machine to check this. Otherwise you will have to call a service engineer.

Alternatively, if this is a brand new machine, the reason is that the transportation fixings have not been removed. These are typically two or more steel rods that hold the drum in place, and have to be removed when the machine is installed, and before it is used, If they are not removed there is no damping of vibration as the drum is not free to move on its flexible supports.

Indesit washing machine not working - took back panel off and there is a big black stain on the inside. Has the motor blown?

if the black that you refer to is like a fine powder all over the inside of the washer it is likely to be the brushes in the motor that have failed
when you remove them they should be at least 20mm long
new brushes available cheap online

Machine belt came off. Also it is vibrating and moving around the floor

Make sure washer is sitting on solid surface and is level on all four feet. Do not overload washer beyond recommendations. Also make sure no shocks or springs are broken. These are simplest checks.

Excessive vibration during spin cycle

Chck to see that all (6) suspension springs are still attached. Check the plastic snubber ring below the mechanism and above the base plate for cracks or contamination.
