Some net printouts need to be printed in Lanscape mode. For example I just selected Print Preview on this page and some of the right side is missing. You can use page setup to select landscape.

Hope that helps...

What button to press to copy a document ?

If you are putting a document into the printer and want to make a copy of it, press the key that says "copy" on the printers keyboard. Then choose the number of copies you want to make and press the "ok" or "enter" key on the keyboard of the printer.

If the document you wish to make a copy of is located in your computer and you dont have a copy of it to place in your printer - then you need to print the document. Not copy the document. Copy means make another one. You can't copy something that you dont have in your hands. Understand? To print a document that you dont have in your hands, find it on your computer. When you find the document you want to print on the computer, click on "file" in the upper left side corner of your computer screen and slide down to "print" and click on it. Then click on "ok" on the next screen to start printing your document.

If there is no "file" command in the upper left corner of your computer screen when you have the document that you want to print open on the computer - try right clicking with the button on the right side of your mouse in the center of the document and find the "print" command on the drop down list and click on it. Then click on "ok" on the next screen and this will start the printing of your document.

Hope this helps? Good luck!

I have a grey/black line all the way down the right hand side of the page

Run a half test.
Put paper in the manual feed tray.
Print something, anything
When the paper is 1/2 way into the printer, open the cover.
Pull out the toner cartridge. Look down at the paper.
Does it have a black line on the right side?
If yes, replace the cartridge. If no, replace the fuser.

Z4M printer when printing on a 3.75 wide label the left side prints fine and the right side is missing half the print. Also continuous wrinkles in the ribbon causing gaps in the print. I tried different...

There is a tensioner that holds the printhead assembly down, slide it more to the right. It sounds like you just need a bit more pressure on the right hand side of the printhead.

Toner is printing on right hand side of each page printed

Most likely it is the drum cartridge. The other causes such as toner on the laser optics would not produce an on again off again print area. It would be blank the entire way down the page. Since the toner prints in patches down the right side it means it is coming from something that is "rotating" and that narrows it down to the drum.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

In copy mode I am getting a back strip along the left hand side of the copy. The strip also shows up in the preview. Strip used to be half inch thick and is now an inch thick.

Is any part of the image missing under this black strip, or is it just margin from the side of the document to the end of the glass?
If nothing's missing, then probably you set a larger original size in the settings somewhere.
Try a sheet of white paper the size of the glass, put on top of the (smaller) copied picture or document; when scanning it is not a big deal, you can always choose the area to be scanned, right?
If however part of the document is missing, this can mean that the photosensitive element is faulty and doesn't read a couple hundred pixels on that side and the device needs repair.

Laserjet 3700 got 59.C0 error

Remove all the print cartridges from the printer so the right swing guide will be visible and check for the parts described in the photos below.
If the right side swing guide does not go all the way back, the 59.C0 alienation error will be displayed on the control panel. A plastic part on the swing guide could be missing.
See photo below where the three circles are on the right side of the printer
Figure 1: Right swing arm assemblye755e62.png
See photo for details of the part. Call-out 1 in the photo below shows the parts in place, while Call-out 2 shows the missing part. (The part looks like an upside-down t.)

Figure 2: Missing part causing 59.C0 error

6349049.gif 1 - Part in place
2 - Part missing
Another cause for a 59.C0 error can be the black sliding lock is broken, out of place, or missing the spring. (See figure below) This can cause 59.C0 errors or 10.92.XX errors.

Figure 3: Right swing frame assembly

Replace the swing guide. Please look for the missing part in the printer so it will not cause other issues from movement to other parts of the printer.
If the part in the call-out is present, close the door slowly and observe the right side swing arm. It should close uniformally with the left side swing arm. If not, arrange for service on the printer and replace the right swing arm.
i think it solves your problem
if you have any problem regarding this issue leave a feed back,we will glad to assist you

good luck

Not printing down right hand side

If its a laser printer then the toner is going to be empty soon. Get the toner from printer and shake it then put it back chances that it will cover the problem.
