My clock reset itself for daylight savings time, then went back to regular un-daylight savings time. I replaced the battery then pushed the CT button. It then reset itself, but for 2 hours behind. I have 4 radio controlled clocks and 2 reset themselves perfectly and 2 didn't. What do I do now?

    1. How do I reset it manually?

    2. I did push the CT button - it has no "city setting"

    3. Model #?. On the back it says WWVB Atomic Clock - is that the model?

    It's 8:58 p.m. here, the clock thinks it's 6:58

The clock thinks it is in a different time zone. Take the battery out.
Replace the battery in the evening, not the daytime. Press the CT button and place the clock near the window facing Colorado. Make sure it is 6 feet from a computer, TV or Microwave while you are trying to set it.

If this does not work:
With the battery still in the clock, try pressing the unmarked tiny DST button for one second. See if the clock advances to the correct Fall time (One hour behind) then press it for one second to turn on DST.

I hope this helps.

The batteries went dead, put in new ones, tried to set time, but it shows daylight savings time, needs to be central standard time. Wisconsin

I set my car clock back to standard time by setting the clock back one hour. If daylight time says 6.00 o'clock it is really 5.00 standard time.

take the batteries out and leave them out for at least a minute. when you put the (new) battereis back in be sure that you have the correct time zone pushed and if there is a DST button or switch make sure that is pushed/set as well. place the clock with its back facing colorado and leave it overnight, it should reset itself ok.

Oregon Scientific Model 323a--Atomic clock...the atomic clock keeps setting itself to one hour behind what time it actually is in my time zone...I mannually re-set the clock to the correct time...but when...

Make sure that the clock is set for the correct time zone and that the DST (Daylight Saving Time) function is ON. Also, although not mentioned in the manuals, these clocks will typically jump and hour ahead or behind when the batteries get weak. Replace your batteries if they are more than a year old.

Resetting to daylight savings time.

The clock is searching for a strong enough radio signal from NIST station WWVB. When it can't lock on it, it gives up, moves the dial four hours, and goes to sleep to wait for better reception. Put the clock in a window facing towards Boulder, CO, overnight. (Radio propagation is better after dark.)

Daylight Savings Times Changed

We set the time zone to '7' , which is Hawaii time zone where there is no change for daylight savings. This came up because it changed automatically on this morning...and although we can change it back, then it won't change next week when it should. So we're hoping that by setting it to Hawaii it will be a regular clock, we will do the changing...but at least we won't be surprized as we were this AM.
