My remote will not work anymore.would stop every once in a while now not at all. Put new batteries in it and nothing in the way. My cable remote will not work as far as volume and power. Is it the remote or the tv. Did the trick of holding remote to a digital camera and saw some pulsing light. Help!!

Did you happen to put a new light bulb in it? I put an LED bulb in mine and the interference caused the remotes to stop working. I had a bear figuring it out, because it seemed to be totally random. Sometimes they would work and sometimes they wouldn't. Once I switched back to an incandescent, it worked fine.

When battery is changed, all the previous settings will be lost from the remote control. You should once again set it to your device, using codes.

Try removing the batteries after you turn off the system. This will turn off the power to your Wii Remote. Once it's off, put the batteries back in and turn on your Wii. If nothing happens on the Wii Remote, then it needs new batteries.

Remove the batteries, open your remote clean the pcb (with cotton ball slightly damped in rubbing alcohol) the one that is painted green as well as the carbon contacts the one behind the remote pads, let it dry and put it back, replace with a new batteries.

check fuse for low beam, then possibly both low beam globes. they could have blown.
the key remote may need reprograming into system try put key in ignition in on position then press remote buttons a couple of times then try if no good need to go to dealer to be programed into system again or it needs repairing/replacing.

charge or replace the car battery as low volts can cause this type of fault
to move re place the battery leads turn on dash lights put foot on brake and put in in neutral as there is a elec lock on the gear stick opperated by brake padel

make sure the main switch is on ,also the chain switch on ,before using control remote!!

if the remote works then why are you posting in here? for the cable remote? I would bet the ir signal board in the tv is not connected to the main board or it is bad. return the tv for an exchange

I had the same problem - my kid stuck it in her mouth and then the screen stopped working. I was finally able to fix it by doing the following:
1. I took the remote apart by
a. taking out the four screws under the battery cover.
b. then, I used a small slot screwdriver as a wedge and ran it up the length of the edge of the remote while prying the top and bottom apart.
2. Once i had it apart, I took a blow dryer to it to blow out any dust and get rid of any moisture
3. I put it back together and it was in Safe mode
4. I took out a battery, held down the #2 button, and put a battery back in and got the "Update Successful" message
5. To my surprise, the remote was fixed.

already tried a new remote and new batteries. bose says the ir bulbs need replacement so i'm taking it in. shucks.
