My westinghouse ltv 32w1 will turn off after being on for 5 to 10 minutes and the blue light turns orange. I have difficulties turning it back on. if it is on for over an hour then it will stay on. Then the process starts all over the next day. It is like it loses it's signal and it goes into standby.

The internal circuit has an intermittent short and disconnect. Generally this is due to excessive heat or a fractured wire. If it is related to the circuit board, components can migrate; cause a short, and cool down and make contact again. Many issues.
An on again, off again issue at some time will end up with complete loss of activity at some time down the road. If the TV is not too old and you value it dearly, simply have it repair by a service technician. Other than that, with new TVs around $300, don't waste money on old technology.

I read on this site that unplugging the power cord from the back of the tv while it's on and then replugging back in works. I had the same problem as you along with the controller not working. When I tried this suggestion, I was very surprised that it worked. The tv and controller both immediately funvtioned properly. I assume there must be some sort of "rebooting" that takes place. Anyway, good luck.

SOURCE: got new tv Westinghouse LTV-32W1 32 Inch

Hello,
in this case i have to know if your tuner is working fine or not. First of all i like you to connect any external player Exp. DVD or blue-ray player if that works with audio then it is inverter board. if audio doesn't work then its main board. Also you will find out that if dvd is working fine on your tv than your tv setting is wrong or the tunes is dead. either way if tuner is gone then you have to change the main board. Either way let me know what went wrong i can provide you more information about what part need and where can you get it from.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Also rate me if you like this post.
Thanks.

My lcd will stay on for 5 to 10 minutes and turn off the led light goes from blue to yellow

It goes into stanby mode (goes from Blue to Yellow) becuase it may have sensed over voltage or over current draw so it shuts itself down to protect itself. Most problem is either the power supply or the backlight inverter board. You need to inspect the two modules out.
