I saw your post: Comment by rajamjad, posted on Dec 23, 2007 Hi friends, firstlly memory full error was appered on my cell, I deleted some data, after facing this error again & again, I restarted my cell ... but know General: System Error displayed on my screen and I can't even use a single key or command. :( I don't want to format because my all contacts are saved on the cell. please help me ............ NOKIA 6600 General: System error?
Hi, the error is saying the firmware is corrupt and it will mean the phone needs flashing and the firmware re-installing, the problem with this is that you will need to take it into a phone shop to have this done.

if you can connect it to your computer then do this and back everything up as the phone will be reset and all data will be wiped, if you cant do this yourself and you want the phone fixed then make sure you ask the phone shop to back all the data up for you.

Hi there...to fix your problem you have to format your 6600...just simply turn off the phone...and then hold this buttons at the same time Power button,3,*,Call button...be sure press it at the same time...wait until the formatting msa appears after that your phone will work now normally...hope this will help you
