Your timer is jamming on the heat cycle. When you open the door the door interlock switch cuts the power off and stops the cycle.

Probably if you just close the door again it will heat again unless the machine is started again.

You need to repair or replace the timer.

Trouble-shooting non-starting

When you perform the key dance of normal heat dry normal heat dry, that is DIAGNOSTIC MODE. The heavy black material is called "mastic" and has come loose from inside the door panel--the door panel must be replaced. I've seen the mastic come loose from heat and fall out of the bottom of the door. It acts like an insulator for sound and heat. It helps keep wires in position, etc. The dishwasher stopping could be from a clogged filter in the main pump, or a clogged drain motor. If the drain action is too slow, the computer will time out and stop. If the main pump is strangled for enough water due to a blocked filter, it will shut down to protect itself.

Hobart LX30H no sump or booster heat

Check the heat circuit of your dishwasher. This will include your control, heat element, thermostat/thermal fuse, & sometimes your door switch. Check your thermostat/thermal fuse and heat element for continuity first. If all test good, go to your control and possibly your door switch. Check for voltage from your control and continuity of your door switch.Use the VOM. God bless you

Maytag mmv4205bab continues to run after time is up. The fan does not circulate, but it continues to heat.

Our microwave in office won't shut off. It continues to heat and fan is running as soon as we close the door. Tried everything, unplugged, canceled everything. Please let me know what to do.

Our built-in maytag dishwasher is not cleaning dishes very well,

After you go out and buy/use a brand name detergent powder like Electrosol or Cascade (using less than the full dispenser cup each time), if problems continue, then have the heating element checked.
Very common for a film/food residue to remain when a dishwasher's heating element fails, even if the water heater temp is set to 120 degrees.
Good Luck!
