How do you reset the Samsung CLP 300 laser printer? The red light stays on and will not print. There are no paper jams. I have done everything that I can do to it except smash it with a sledge hammer. Any other solutions? Thanks!!
Try opening the front cover and on the side of the blue color barrel is a white L shaped container that catches printer debris. If it is full the printer will give you the red light also. I found it by accident and it worked for me. I don't have the manual but it's woth a try. Remove it and tap it upsidedown over a trash can till it's empty. Good luck.
The operators manual will probably tell you that it is a drum count code that's telling you to replace the drum unit to continue.
Easy to reset chip we have resetter also.
new unlimited chip work life time.

pouring away the waste toner tank is only a temperary soloutions.
It will course other issue in your printer. example dirty print out or double image.
advice is to replace the waste toner tank as there is a small sensor builtin.
