Water leaking down into the crisper..thinking drain tube may be clogged any tips?

Sounds like cooling coils inside ref. that cools the water before the dispenser in the door.
These coils are in the back bottom of ref, behind crispers. They may be leaking.

The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? The defrost water
overflows into the ref. or freezer or on floor
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

How To Clear the Drain Tube Before clearing the drain tube, unplug the refrigerator or shut off the power at the fuse box or breaker panel to avoid an electrical shock hazard. Your refrigerator has a drain that leads to the exterior drain pan beneath the refrigerator. Occasionally this drain can become clogged resulting in standing water inside your refrigerator. A similar drain exists in the freezer, which when clogged results in ice build up on the floor of the freezer.
The drain is located either on the floor of the refrigerator, beneath the vegetable crisper, or in the wall behind a drain funnel.
Clear the drain by forcing a solution of water and bleach or water and baking soda into it with a basting syringe. If the solution will not flow through, slide a length of 1/4 inch or smaller flexible tubing into the drain tube to push the clog through to the drain pan. Remove the tubing after clearing the clog.

Yes try boiling water and if you have a 1/4" plastic tubing like what they use on icemakers and boil some water in a pan and then siphon the water into the drain and try to push the tubing down inside the drain as your doing it to unclog/unfreeze anything in there. The tubing will get hot while your doing this you'll need a towel to wrap the tubing so you dont get burnt. Its either frozen or clogged, more than likely clogged on this model i believe. Let me konw if you need further assistance.

you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back of freezer..you will see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. the reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking down the vent instead of the drain hole...If you need any further assistance please feel free to comment again. good luck!

Self-defrosting refrigerators dispose of the water generated during the defrost cycle, usually via a tube or channel that directs the water to a pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. From the pan, the water normally evaporates.
If the tube or channel is clogged or obstructed, the water backs up and leaks into the inside of the refrigerator compartment. Then the water builds up at the bottom, inside of the refrigerator. When the water has built up for a time it may spill out of the front of the door opening. To fix this problem, clear the drain tube or channel and allow the defrost water to flow down to the drain pan.

The automatic defroster is supposed to drip down a tube and deposit water into a tray underneath the refrigerator. If that tube becomes clogged with either ice or mold, water is supposed to drip down the back of the refrigerator and go under the crispers, but there is a drain under there that takes it to the tray under the refrigerator. That drain might get clogged with mold or food.

So my suggestion is, try to clear out the drains under the crispers. More difficult, remove the floor of the freezing compartment and clear out the drain there. If it is severely clogged with ice under there, you have a defrosting problem.

In this hot, muggy weather you are likely to get lots of condensation. Good luck.

sounds like you do have a clogged drain tube, its self defrosting but the defrost water is pooling under hte crispers instead of in the drain pan under unit.so you ll either have to remove hte rear panel of freezer and locate the drain trough/ tube, and defrost it allowing for water to drain down, o rclear all the tube leading down to the drain pan.
