Hello,

I hope you have I-tunes software and a cable for your I-pod.

Of you don't have I-tunes, you can install i-tunes from I-tunes website: www.apple.com/itunes/

You can get a detailed information on how to put song on your i-pod from the link below.

I wish you good luck.

1. Download and install iTunes from the Apple website (see link in Resources).
2. Open iTunes, so that the sidebar with the "Library" section is visible.
3. Navigate to the location of your music files in your file manager and select the files you want to import into iTunes.
4. Click and drag the files over the "Library" section. A green "+" symbol appears over the section when you roll the mouse cursor over it with the files. Release the mouse button to import the music files into iTunes.
5. Plug your iPod into your computer's USB port. iTunes will automatically detect the iPod.

Can't combine old itunes songs from a different laptop to my new ipod on a new laptop!

it is not possible. it will erase the songs from your ipod if you sync the ipod to the new computer and all the songs from the new computer will be copied to your ipod.

If I were you. copy all the songs from old laptop to your new laptop and sync your ipod to the new itunes in your new computer and it combined all songs.

hope it helps..

Sir i hav transferred various songs to my i pod 120gb classic ....but i m not able tp play them on i pod as i m not able to found them on any folder whatsoever in ipod,,,,surprisingly i m able to play them...

This is simple.

Do not copy paste songs on ipod.

Just intall iTune software from www.apple.com & Add you songs to media library & sync your i pod with them.

Now you can play your songs on your ipod. This is the process of fill songs on ipod.

Thanks.

I can't get my songs onto my iPod Nano

The Ipod or the USB cable may be defective.
Try first connecting the Ipod to a different computer to test it, or using a different data cable.

If Ipod works, then do the following.

Unplug computer power cable, and if it is a laptop or a macbook also remove battery for ten minutes. This will get rid of elecrostatic charges on USB connectors.
If that does not work try reinstalling Itunes, this will synch the Ipod again with the computer.

ITunes to IPod

It sounds like you have your IPOD set to automatically sync to your itunes library instead of being set to manually select the songs. If you have it set to automatically sync then anytime you plug your ipod in with itunes open then only the songs that are in your Itunes library will be on your IPOD after you disconnect it from the computer. If you would have set it to manually sync then you would have had to choose which songs to put on your IPOD and also which to take off. If you had it set to automatically sync then I am sorry to inform you, but your songs are gone from your IPOD (and if you have it set to delete the song from the computer as well as the library then the song is gone from your laptop too)
