62HM15 Toshiba DLP TV won't respond to remote or control panel

Our 62HM15 Toshiba DLP TV won't respond to the remote control or control panel to turn on. we tried changing the battery in the remote and changing the lamp but it won't turn on. We tried unplugging it & plugging it back it but the only thing that happens is the green light on the front panel blinks in increments of 3 for a very long time. How do we fix this?

Blinking is a trouble code. Try unpluging for a longer time then hold power button in when pluging back in to try and reset.

Recommended replacement remote for 32c11ou

i would make sure you have good batteries in remote and if you have a cell phone with a camera you can point the camera at the remote control where the bulb is that you point at the tv and push a button on the remote control and the light will show up in the camera as a blue light the camera will pick up the ultra violet light that your ***** eye won't see if still bad almost all universal remotes will work but usually problem is battery or corroded battery connectors good luck

Toshiba won't function with remote

All universal remote controls should have to setup with the TV by its codes. There are codes, given below, to synchronize the TV with remote control. Brand name of the remote control you have isn't matter. Check these codes. Proceedings also is given. If you want further details, check this link, and select the site 'Electro-help'. pull up older posts there for more details.
Setup codes for Toshiba TV are:
0159 0178 0109 0120 0181 0105 0049 0095 0170 0260 0358 0394 0924 0012 0095 0117 0141

Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

Toshiba 32a14 does not respond to remote control

Hello
There is a infrared light sensor inside the TV which detects the infrared rays emitted from the remote control, when we press each button on the remote control. If this sensor has got damaged, the set won't respond to any remote control handset. The sensor can be located just behind the infrared sensor window at the front panel of the TV. To access it, you have to open the TV. It is a three terminal component, will be soldered diretily to front panel circuit board, of with the main baord itslef. Will look somewhat brownish black in colour. There are so many types can be seen . Just look what type if fitted with your TV.
