I have lexmark x7170 and windows vista with microsoft 2007...If I try to print a range of pages out of word, it prints one page, then deletes the priting on the rest. I've tried to re-install the driver a couple times, but to no avail. Any suggestions? It is quite frustrating.

Try to print some more pages. The ink will take time to go down as it is not free flowing. This is due to the air beetween the new ink and the old ink, after some printing the air is push out and then you can have a clear print.

I would try a postscript print driver. First, delete the current print driver and install the latest updated driver from the Lexmark website. Once you do that, try to print a document and see if that works.

You may have to change the communication format called the "Spool format."

Please follow the steps given below to change the spool data format:
1. Click on "Start," "Control Panel," "Hardware and Sound" and "Printers."
2. Then, right click on the Lexmark printer icon and left click "Properties."
3. Either on the "Advanced" tab or the "General" tab for some models, there is a "Print Processor" button, left click it.
4. This is the spool format setting. Under "Print processor" it should be set to "Lexmark 2400 series print processor." Next, under "Default datatype," select "NT EMF 1.008."
5. Click "OK" and exit back out to your desktop.
6. Please try printing again.

Go to print setup and go to properties then adjust the settings to the full page . right click on the default printer icon to go to properties.

correct the printing settings of the microsoft office....... there is a option button in the printing dialog box check there

if your taskbar displays printer icon on system tray double click on that & delete all privious prints.

select the text or area which you want to print. & give print command, & Click on print selection button & then Print.
