I own a HTC touch Pro 2 and recently purchased Golflogix (golf gps) membership after trying the 24 hour free demo successfully. I was mailed the activation code When I go into golflogix it gives me a option ? become a Member? or Continue. If i press ?become a member ? golflogix screen disappears and I can get no further. If I ?continue? it gives me a message that I should become a member and I can go no further. I also don't see it under minimized programs so do not think that it simply minimizes the screen

Try turning off the 3g. a lot of gps programs use the wireless gps, which just isnt as accurate, but the satellite gps gets interfered with by the 3g on the phone. Also, go to location services under settings on the phone, and make sure its turned ON for golflogix.
I had that a ways back. Go into your course manager, and click help, one of the options says restore. After you do that, reload your courses, and , get this, you have to leave the gps outside for 8 hours! Old gps, it has to manually build maps of satttelites. I did that once, and it fixed it, it happened again 6 months later, and it didn't fix it. They told me that it was dead, and had me mail it in to get a new gps8 for cheap.
The cable can be a pain. It has to be slid all the way down to the very bottom of the socket on the gps, even when its tight, it might not be connected all the way. I usually wiggle it left and right while pushing it down.
The GolfLogix 7 had a problem that if you did a reset to factory defaults it wiped out the Almanac in the GPS. This is the Table of where the satelites are. Put in a fresh set of battery's....turn it on and put it out in the open sky for 4 to 8 hours. Sometimes this will work. If not contact Golflogix Tech Support. They ill probable ship you a replacement unit.
