I have bought a new computer...operating "Windows 7. My Easy Cam does operate, although the light is lit. I am sure it is drivers, but can't seem to locate compatibility driver. Have went to "Jasco's website nothing there. Please help!

There is a good chance that your laptop is not fully compatible with windows 7. This computer was made for Vista and while the rest of the computer may be working, the webcam sounds as if it is not Windows 7 ready.

Hello, I'm sorry but Lenovo has yet to release windows 7 drivers for your 3000 Y410 Notebook.The most current easy cam driver is for vista, you can get it here:

Go to the camera section and give it a try since hardware sometimes have the same drivers for vista and 7

If the OEM is not making a driver then your probably out of luck. You may have to go back down to Win XP or sell or return the item. Not all manufactures have caught up with Win 7 drivers so you need to make sure there is a driver for the equipment you purchase.

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. bee sure you use the right driver / software to the operative system. Then you have to go to the settings to the web cam, if you want to use it with a software and select the web cam (video settings).

Possibly HP rare not supporting this printer in the new OS, although most Vista drivers are compatible with Windows 7, so have you tried installing the original drivers that came with the printer?

Did you check the site to see if there is a Windows 7 driver available for your device? That seems to be the problem to me.
