My pc suite doesnt work.phone model GT-S5233A says phone not connected,install usb drive. no such thing in cd

Hello, most likely you need the drivers or pc suite for you phone to work correctly with your pc. Please post your phone make and model so I can send you a download link.
If you already have a recent pc suite installed then your usb cable may be faulty

not necessarily may b ur usb port of computer is old version in that case yes install pc suite of samsung

Im having the same problem, ive purchased a gt400 and it didnt come with a instalation disk/pc suite thing. Ive downloaded the update software from Lg website but it seems to have every install usb driver accept for gt400. Does anybody know how i can install the phone/pc suite thing to my computer?

Sir, the issue you're facing are due many problems.

1) Due to unidentifying your mobile phone by your computer.
2) Due to some error occurred to your Sony Ericsson PC Suite installed in your Computer.
3) Due to some problem in your mobile phone.

For solving this, connect your mobile phone to the Computer via USB and try:--
1) In your Computer, go to MyComputer (Right-Click) -

to install your software to your pc, NPS, try to follow these steps. please take note that you don't need to connect your phone first during installation. if your phone is connected to your pc, disconnect it.
for xp operating system:
1. insert the cd to your computer...
2. enable autoplay for your cd / dvd rom drive
3. select appropriate language
4. select ''install pc suite''
5. once finished, select the finish tab

for vista operating system,
>>do the same as the above steps, if ask to run as administrator select yes.
>>after installation, uncheck run pc studio automatically after finish.
>>select install usb driver
>>click yes if prompted to run as administrator,
>>after installation, remove the cd, run NPS, and connect your phone.
>>if your phone can not be seen by NPS, do these,
on your NPS, click menu, select settings, select connection, check usb cable com1 or com 2 port select ok, and let your pc studio recognize your phone.

for windows seven, though the NPS doesn't support it right now. you can do the following tricks,
1. insert the cd, don't enable autoplay
2. browse your NPS cd, look for the setup for NPS..
3. once located, right click the setup.exe, select properties,
4. select compatibility,
5. check run in compatibility mode on win xp, win vista.
6. check run as administrator
>>during installation, if prompted that the installation was not successful it will give you an options, select install with recommended settings.

the trick also, if you can't install your samsung studio, you may do these...

on your phone, press menu,then select settings, select phone settings, scroll down and it will give you pc connections, select ask on connections, save and exit.
now, connect your phone to your computer, it will ask you what connection do you prefer, on your phone, press memory card, it will install your memory card as mass storage device, open it your my computer, you will see your memory card there, you can now, drag and drop files from your computer to your memory card.

try to log in as an administrator and reinstall the program....it should work...
