Not reading cd's

First clean the laser head with a Qtip and alcohol. It gotta be perfectly clean, so wipe with fresh brand name qtip and make sure there is not a single dust particle on it. You gotta remove the cabinet with star screwdriver. Your beam might be tired. First try with the clean up! You can get a replacement unit, here http://1200s.com/Store/PARTS-PIONEER-CDJ-800/c271_461_491/p320015/Pioneer_-_CDJ800_CD_Mechanism_w/Pick-up_Assembly/product_info.html
You might want to bring this to a pro sound shop for repair. I'd order the part by myself and bring everything at the repair shop...

My pioneer cdj 800 simply wont work!!

Your traverse assembly is damaged, and will need to be replaced. Although self-repair is not recommended, you can buy the part and bring it with you to a service center for replacement.

CDJ 800 mk2. Will play audio cd fine but won't play mp3's

There is no easy fix for this. You will more than likely have to have the CD traverse assembly replaced - you could try a professional cleaning and alignment first - but ultimately, you will have to replace the cd assembly.

Cdj 800

CD reader sounds like it's stuck. You might have some debris inside, or the reader might need to be replaced. Not an easy fix, and I would suggest contacting a service center for assistance.

No sound from CDJ-800 MK2

Are you getting error messages? Running in thru LINE? Is not on mute? The possiblity of both not playing would lead to process of elimination.

Keep me posted.
