Sounds like your power inverter is going bad. replace power inverter and see how that works. Other issue if not solved is probably lcd screen. Inverter's can be found cheaper used if you use the serial number on your old inverter for searching, seeing as how inverters are often used on many different of machines. FYI.

The power inverter is a small, narrow, 4 inch piece that fits underneath your lcd screen. To get to that, you have to remove the bezel around your lcd screen, then remove the lcd screen, that will make your power inverter available to you. Not for the faint hearted however.
I have read a few posts where that was advised..and some did but all said it didn't help..i have no interest in repeating their mistake

i dont understand what is this power inverter.Did u mean the power charger for the laptop. i have tried taking the power charger out working out with battery alone. I couldnt resolve.
