I have creatacard gold 4 that will not load with windows7 onto a new HP Pavilion computer. I tried the compatabiliy modes and still it will not load . the trouble shooting program says that it is incompatible.

Copying the files will not necessarily work, certain registry settings etc will not be established. you may try to install the program (CreataCard Gold 3) using compatibility mode and check if it can be installed. If the above steps do not work I would suggest you to contact the program manufacturer to verify if they have any updates of fixes to install this application on Windows 7.

I have American Greetings Creata Card Gold, which my computer states that it is not compatible with my program, is there an updated program?

After uninstalling the program, go to start, Search, for files and folders and put *creatacard gold* in the search box using the asterisks on both sides. Bu sure to delete any files that are found involving creatacard gold7. Then restart your computer. It sounds like you are having a configuration problem. Is the operating system you are using listed on the configuration of the Creatacard Gold program as a operating system that this software will work on?

You could try and reinstall and if using windows, try using the the program compatability wizard found in the accessories folder in the programs folder. This might help make the program work properly. Alternatively, you may have to get a another version of creatacard gold if it does not work with your operating system. The CreateACard Gold 3 (CAC Gold 3) will never work with Windows 7 64bit unassumingly because the software producing company has not upgraded their software for even Vista 64bit.
I recommend you to switch to " Hallmark Card Studio Special Edition" it has all the features of CAC Gold 3. You will enjoy it as there should be no problem installing it with Windows 7 64bit.

I just installed Hallmark Comedy Card Studio by Sierra on my Vista 64-bit machine. It works with all the saved files from Creata Card. If the Calendar and Address Book data file is fmnot32.dat, rename it to planr32.dat and then the Event Calendar will work as well.

i hate Vista as well. i am trying to find a solution. my whole life over the past couple of years is wrapped up in the eventminder and fmnot32 files but after installing Creatacard on my machine with Vista, it will not recognize the files.

i open my address book, it's empty. i open my calendar it too is empty. how can i get this program to recognize the files i copied from the old machine? PLEASE HELP! i've tried everything including dragging them both over at the same time (file plus .BAK). i don't know what else to do.
