How do you remove mavis beacon teaches typing 15. I cannot uninstall it

    I went to remove programs...it will not remove it.
    That is the reason I am trying to find a way to remove it. When you click remove it asked do you want to remove and I click yes and it goes through the remove screen then when it complete that it says thank you for updating and installing. I have been trying to remove this for 2 years with no succes. If you remove it from the c drive to recycling it is still there. I guess the only way to remove it is to wipe the hard drive clean and I don't want to do that.

Dear,
Go to your start up menu. Click Control Panel. Click Programs. Click Uninstall a program. Scroll down to Mavis Beacon Typing. Select Uninstall. Your Windows system may ask you" do you want to continue" click yes. Remove any unwanted or outdated programs this way. Don't bog down your system with programs you don't use. They take up valuable space. Be blesed..

I need mavis beacon that is compatible with dell inspiron mini.
You will need to know the operating system or model number to determine which version of a Mavis Beacon product is compatible with the Inspiron Mini. The Inspiron Mini 9 came with Windows XP. The Mini 10 1010 could have XP, Vista or Windows 7. The Mini 10 1012 came with XP, Windows 7 or Ubuntu Moblin. The Mini 12 1210 came with XP or Vista.

Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing v2 , http://www.broderbund.com/p-952-mavis-beacon-teaches-typing-powered-by-ultrakey-v2-personal-edition.aspx , should work with Vista or Windows 7. This is the current version and works with Windows 8 and Windows 10. Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing version 18 and version 20 Platinum both work with XP and Vista.

Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 17 Deluxe Does not start
Hello,

Assuming you have not switched to Windows Vista with the new hardrive - as Mavis Beacon 17 does not work in that platform - then-
it sounds as though the file is corrupted. I would uninstall and reinstall the product. Unfortunately, difficult to do with out a cd or good original disk to start from. If you have your order number or purchase numbers when you bought your download, then customer support should help you get a clean download.


Here is some information on system configuration- it is similar for the setup of Mavis beacon 17
