I think that a ripper will help you finish this guide. You can rip the media source out and then use it freely without any protection. BTW, you can also convert VOB to MP4 cause MP4 is a more portable format for daily use.

In your DVD you shoud have some Filse like:
VST_01_01.VOB
VST_01_02.VOB
OR with any file name having VOB extention. Actually thats the file where your DVD videos are stord.
try to copy these files to your computer in any new folder.
then use the NERO to burn these files to your DVD.
