Cannot turn PC on after change RAM

MB: ASUS P4B533; Video: ATI 9200SE w/TV 128MB DDR; 3 pieces of RAM: (1) KVR266x64C25/512, (2) 2pieces x KVR400x64C3AK2/512. Everything were ok when I used (1) with the MB and ATI; however, yesterday I tried to use (2) it didn't work. PC POST periodic long beep and can't find RAM and monitor stayed blank. I tried (1) back in 3 DIMM slots but I got the same result. All fans are working fine. No burning smell. What's wrong with my PC?

Thanks a lot mates. I tried the 266 alone, and the 400 alone as well; also tried in different slots but am getting the same problem - long periodically long beep meaning no RAM installed or detected, also blank in monitor. I am in ASUS's default JumperFree mode. Any way I can test if my RAM or MB is faulty? Or if it is the Video card problem? Many thanks.

I jus tried but it didn't work. I tried my original 266 RAM on 3 slots as to ensure it's not the problem of the DIMM slots (don't think 3 slots are not working at the same time, or it's MoB's problem?). Does it mean my RAM is faulty?

To put in my 400 RAM I need to overclock my PC. This is an uncharted area for me a newbie so I don't want to try before making sure what's wrong with my computer. Please help.

You can use two kinds of memory with the same speed 266 or 400 but you cannot use both with different speed. i suggest you change the lower speed with the higher speed.

try this one. to check if your ram is diffective, place the ram one by one on each slot, if it will work. if you have 3 slots and 3 ram you will have 9 trials. or refit your video card in place.

Try other combination with the ram, switch their slots, etc. try cleaning slots contacts, make sure it's seated well.
try resetting the bios with the jumper.

just reset bios settings, it should help.
    take of the power cable.
move the cmos clear jumper to the other pins, or you can take the battery off, wait a minute, and then put it back, put only one dimm in the first slot and turn on the pc. if it helps, you can try and put more ram.
