The problem is that the Upper fixing roller needs to be replaced... Most likely the coating on the roller has worn off and the bear metal is exposed and the toner stick to the metal and reprint it futher dow the page.... It could also be uneven pressure with the upper and lower fixing rollers... It may be a broken bushing or ball bearing... Good Luck

Press;

• User Tools/Counter button
• Facsimile Features
• Key Operator Tools
• Parameter setting
• Select Switch No. 03
• Select Bit No. 5 for Immediate Transmission and
• Select Bit No. 0 for Memory Transmission

When the Bit number is pressed, the current value switches between 1 and 0.
Please set these two Bits to 0 to disable printing of transmission result report.
Then press;

• OK
• Exit
• User Tools/counter button

press the "on hook" dial key. this should let you hear a dial tone. If you don't hear a dial tone, then it is probably the phone line and not the machine. You may have to call your telephone company.

press fax button. on hook dial, number with the keyboard, place the original on the cristal, pres start, after all pages has been scanned press # or take the phone, place original, mark the number on the phone when you hear the signal press start.

Press "User Tools" Press "Facsimile Features" Press "Gen/Settings Adjust" Press "Program Fax Information" Press "Own Fax Number" Press "For G3-1" add your number That's it!

check your phone lines.then connect it to the machine.press on hook dial.if dial tone is not there you may need a service engineer.
