I dont have a disc drive to beable to download the photo manager software as i have a netbook, is their a way of downloadin it camera is Vivicam 5018???

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

Use blue tooth if available. If not use pen drive. If not use picasa software. Create account upload photos. And then through your netbook download them back.

When you connect the camera, what happens? Does an icon appear on your desktop, does windows open a dialogue box and offer to download the pics, does a "removable drive" appear in "my computer"? Any of these methods should allow you to download to a folder you create on your desktop.
Check on Vivicam website for any drivers for your Camera, look for your model of Camera there and download the drivers onto your Netbook and then install them. Then you should be able to connect the Camera to your Netbook and transfer the Photos.
i recently had the same problem with a vivitar, you dont have to load the disk. windows will recognize it as a mass storage device or removable drive ( ? )= letter of drive.although this camera was slightly newer .i went into the menu in the camera then scrolled to MSDC the computer then recognized this as a mass storage device or removable drive. it then gave me the option to veiw files on the disc, OR you can do as above then go to start. select my computer, and the extra drive will be their. right click on drive select open, right click on dcim,select open and their should be your photos simply copy the photos to my pictures then your all set to do whatever you want. keep, print, whatever. not sure if this is usefull but its how i got my pics.
