I had purchase a new nokia 1650 wont ring or vibrate

you want to goto settings in your mobile phone and select restore factory setting, in that type the security code 12345 and press ok .then the problem will be solved

Reset you phone to "Factory Default" by entering 12345 as the code. To do this, go to "settings" scroll down to the bottom and select "Factory Default" or "Factory Restore" and enter the code as mentioned above and press "Ok". This will restart your phone or if not will directly reset you phone to the factory default (the condition of the settings when you purchased). If this doesn't fix, you need to update the firmware, i would suggest you to get it done from the mobile repairing shop.

Network Problem

Any phone that turns off during performing a setting has a deffective software,if under warranty swapp it with your manifacturer, if out of warranty just purchase an other one from wallmart1

Itseems that the firmware has been damaged ..

first try giving restore factory settings ..

if you still persist the problem then you need to upgrade the firmware ..

it can be done if you just have the normal data cable of the handset if it supports ...
if it doesnot support the data cable then you need to take the cell to the technician and get it flashed as this can only be done by DKU resetter cable ...

If your handset is compatible for the data cable then you can download the nokia software updater and then you proceed to the firmware updation

follow the instruction in that after running the program if you are doing it by yourself (or if your handset supports the data cable)

By giving restore factory settings 99% it will solve the problem

May be you selected the " Silent Profile " by accident in settings. Go to Menu > Settings > Profiles > and see what you have Choose something other than Silent and Activate see if your phone rings !
