You can purchase parts for Panasonic microwaves but home repair is not recommended due to them being lethal if you do something wrong. I would find a good local repair shop and they should be able to find the part and repair. It might not however be cost effective, depends on the part price.
Had the same problem, here's what I did and it cost me all of about 5 cents. Pry open the plastic trim piece that surrounds the inside of your microwave door. Find the spring that has come loose inside the door. Attach the spring back onto the latch and zip tie it to one of the metal tabs that surround the inside of the door. The piece of plastic the spring attaches to inside the door is small and eventually weakens and breaks. I would imagine the zip tie will last longer than the microwave itself. Problem solved, $100 saved.
Hi this worked great for me - thanks wrench77
Thanks so much. Worked great for me too. I appreciate you sharing this advice.

Thank you for the posting the spring & zip tie solution, hardest part was the plastic trim removal, but after attaching the zip tie to the spring on the latch hook and the last door trim holder bracket, the trim piece snaps easily into place, and the microwave works like a charm. Thank you, thank you.
