Will not come back. green lights flash as to trying to come on but just shuts off. any help appreciated, as to problem and how to repair.

I recommend you do not fix It. LCD TVs are inexpensive today and have much better performance.

Before you replace any parts, have someone (TV service tech) check the vertical size settings in the service menu.

I've got the same problem too. TV is approximately 10 months old... I think it's a piece of junk.

A green tint can be caused by over drive of the green circuit or lack of enough red or blue.Either way it leads back to the tube having a problem. If it is even available the cost of replacement would well exceed cost of buying a new TV.

The only inputs tho the TV are cable in and AUDIO / VIDEO in.
You can use 'stereo patch cords', to plug into the tv. Check with your local computer store to see if you can find adapters to plug into the computer and change to RCA jacks.

probably this tv has a transistor damaged, but you can try to re solder all the leads and try to switch it ON again. beaware not to short the component leads.
