There are several ways to do it. Try this.

Go to my Computer and select the stick drive by double clicking the icon (removable drive, e? f? g?, depending what other drives you have on your machine) This should open a window for that drive showing its contents.

Now go to the folder that contains the files you want to back up. Right click the file you want to back up and choose Copy. Go back to the window for the stick drive and left click in the window, then right click and choose paste.

Your file should now be copied to the memory stick.

If you want to save several files click on the first one, hold down the Shift key and click on the last one in the folder and they will all be selected - then right click and select Copy. Then do as abaove to save to the memory stick.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE FLASH DRIVE CRUZER MICRO

This is a plug and play device so you just need to insert it into any spare USB port and your system will then see the device as a logical drive and will allocate a letter to it so you can transfer files to it. Cruzer’s have a self loading app which will give you some other options and a manual. Just use it like you would any hard drive. Also you will need to use the Cruzer’s own Eject Tab when you want to remove it from your PC / Laptop.

I just bought a new computer and I need to transfer files

A SanDisk Cruzer Mini is a memory stick, like a modern floppy disk. Plug it into a USB port (a thin rectangular hole) - it may be at the back of your computer. Your computer should then recognise it and you can copy files onto it.

Sandisk cruzer micro skin

First check from Windows Explorer, does your sandisk cruzer detected? you'll get a new drive letter besides your local drive or
named "removable disk".
If you do see it then just do transfering as usual.
you don't need something to come up first :)

Is there a little switch somewhere on the thumbdrive. If so that would be the read-only switch. Try it in the other position.
