SOURCE: Frigidaire double oven has one element not working in each oven

sounds as if perhaps there has been a thermal overload(switch) tha has gone bad, refer to part number 119 on bothe the lower and upper oven for refernce , you should have continuity trough the switches.

Thermostat broken

Good Morning a_t_pearson, this is Z. Thank you for your post! I understand that the thermostat is broken on your top Frigidaire oven; therefore I'm assuming that you have a double-wall oven. If so, please help me understand what you are referring to by thermostat? Is your oven not preheating or reaching desire temperature? Are you speaking about the bake and/or broil elements not heating? May I please have your model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located on the front of the oven, on the left side, as you open the door. With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you!

The heating element on my Frigidaire RBE-97N has cracked and broken. How easy or hard is it to replace it?

I assume it is the bake element. These are very easy to replace. make sure the power is off and you can access the screws from the oven cavity. remove the screws, pull gently on the element. If the wires are long enough you should be able to disconnect them or unscrew the wires from the terminals. reattach the wires to the new element. reinsert it back in place and there you go.

Old frigidaire wall oven model RBE-94N emitting strong odor & not baking

Hello - From what you have described it sounds like the unit has faulty elements or could possibly be experiencing a wiring issue with the EOC. Try resetting the oven by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose the unit.
