How to i format my memory card for nokia 7373, its a new memory card, but when incerted it says, memeory card not formatted.

there is no option provided in nokia 7373..
but u can format it by connecting to ur system via usb cable and format ur phone memory folder

Try to format it in a PC using a software for it.
You can use the software which you can download clicking here.

Then do followings:

- Plug your memory card in the PC.
- Run the "HPUSBFW_2.2.3_MASTER.exe" file that you downloaded.
- Select device as your memory card.
- Select file system as FAT32,
- Write a volume label.
- Confirm that the quick format option unchecked. (And also the other options will be unchecked.)
- Click start button to format.

That's all.

Yes! I can. Install "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool" on your computer then use card reader. Now insert the memory card into card reader and then click on hp usb disk storage fomrat tool on desktop and now click on format. Your memory card will be format easily within seconds.

try to insert your memory card to other mobile unit bt if it has a same problem you have a corrupted card.
no other choice is to change it.

You need to use Nokia Communicator cellphone...to fix this issue.

In that mobile you can format the MMC even though it has password protected.

Once you have formatted the MMC you can use recoverprofor all software to recover MMC data.

It is cards generic IC problem. This card is defective (currupt) and needs to be replace. You should ask the wendor to replace it. It can not be put right by any other tool and if it get right that will be very temporary. It is advisable to replace it...

Boss change ur memory card and throw the older one

the problem might be with the slot of memory card, if the same memory cards are working in another phones than consult with nokia care, they will be able to sort out the issue for u.
