Generally speaking, if an electric oven isn't reaching the correct temperature it's usually the element or the thermostat to blame. This tips should help you diagnose what's causing the problem:

If the bake element isn't heating at all or if when it's turned on it starts tripping breakers and blowing fuses than it's probably the element that needs to be replaced. Here's our guide to how to replace a fan oven element:

If the element is heating but the oven temperature isn't accurate for where it should be than it could be the thermostat. You can test these hypothesis out with certainity by testing the continuity of both the element & the thermostat.

You should also visually ***** to make sure that there isn't any loose wiring in your cooker.

Obviously before playing around with the cooker make sure that it's unplugged and drained of residual electricy.

Oven wont heat broiler wont heat

is this a gas or electric range. If it is gas it sounds like a flame sensor is not working. The oven will try to fire up, but if it does not sence a flame, it will shut off again to keep the range from filling with raw gas. Also the easy one, is the gas turned on?

"off" light displays and the oven will not heat up

The internal temperature may have been above the minimum setting for the oven temp, hence it locks out till cool down. Once it cools it should be OK. If not, cycle the breaker to the oven to reset.

Hi,
May be the heating coil is bust?
The control panel is in parallel usually so as long as the controls are getting power they will turn on. But if the coil is gone you wont get heat. If you want to try fixing it, you may need a multimeter, or a continuity tester.

WHY WON'T MY OVEN HEAT UP?

Most modern gas ovens and many broilers use a "glow-bar" style of igniter that glows red-hot to ignite the gas. If the igniter doesn't reach the proper temperature, the gas valve won't open. You may need to replace the igniter.
