Hi,the music on the memory card has nothing to do with it,the problem is that the memory card is not supported by the phone, the phone uses a microSD card quite alright but the maximum SD card it supports is 4gb microSD card that is why the 8gb microSD card is not supported by the phone.
so i'll suggest you get a 4gb microSD card.

Take care

I have a Sansa e250 and I just bought a 8GB microSD card. Ideally, I would be able to add 10GB worth of music and playlists, however I can't get the Sansa player to read the music from the microSD...

The Sansa e250 works with microSD cards. Your 8GB card is actually a microSDHC card (the HC stands for High Capacity). While microSDHC cards fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work in the e250.

microSD cards max out at 2GB in size, but you can put your music on several of them and swap them in and out. It's not as convenient as having them all on one card, but that's the best you can do with the e250.

Some later models such as the Fuze will accept microSDHC cards.

Why won't the memory card port recognise a

The "HC" in microSD-HC stands for "high capacity". This new more dense format is not supported by all computers and peripheral devices. Chances are you have an older device that doesn't know how to deal with the new microSD-HC format. Check out Wikipedia for a more thorough explanation.

My LG Neon GT365 is not recognized by my xp computer. When I connect the usb cable the phone beeps and beeps.

You have the wrong usb cord. You MUST have a regular microSD card in the phone for it to be recognized as an external device. So go buy a micro SD card and make sure you have the right data cable ( check http://www.bargaincell.com for an LG NEON DATA CORD)
Also do not buy a high capacity microsd card. They sometimes will not be read buy the neon. microSDHC usually won't work. Use a regular "microSD" card. That should help you out.

Most LG phones have a spot for the memory card behind the battery. Remove the battery and you will see where the memory card slides in.

How much of GB micro SD card does htc tytn-2 support ?

THe MicroSD card slot which can handle cards up to 32GB to satisfy your thirst for videos/music/photos/applications. MicroSD cards are now pretty cheap, I saw an 8GB card recently for $18.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

MicroSD card not responding.

Cards > 2g are MicroSDHC. Your phone may not support the HC cards. Please check with you cell provider and see if they have a firmware upgrade to read MicroSDHC cards. As for the computer, you just need to buy a cheap reader compatible with HC cards.

LG Fusic 550 Sprint - Memory Card Error with 8 GB Sandisk MicroSD

Believe it or not, a lot of the older phones (an even the newer phones) will not support the 8GB memory card. Most of the phones on the market that support 8GB cards are the smart phones and PDA's. There are a few standard phones that support it but not many. Unfortunately, the LG 550 is not one of them. :o/

You may need to take it back and exchange it for a smaller one.
