transfer belt (and other consumables) will reset follow this procedure:

1. go in diagnose mode:
menu - # - 1934 - menu
2. in tech mode -consumables counter - transfer belt -reset
3. after 20 sec. power off and power on
When transfer belt count 60.000 image need to reset.
good lock!

Your printer has a "IMAGE TRANSFER BELT". This belt has a marker on his surface. This error means that the image belt does not move, or is damaged. Probably you will have to replace the belt with new one( This part is made for 20000pages).

Hi there,

Try this steps it might help,

1. detach the paper tray and push it back correctly.
2. open the front door and remove toner cartridges, on left inner side u may see a light sensor which detects the toner cartridges.. simply clean this section by a small cotton bud. and in the left side of toner unit there is a sensor door, behind that door there is also a light sensor bulb, which needs to be cleaned by a cotton bud.

Did you try turning the machine off, unplugging it, then plugging it back in and turning it on? Usually this procedure will cause the error message to go away.

If the error does not clear, you'll need to call a service technician.

press menu->ID Copy->Left->Right->Menu->Black Start consecutively

enter tech mode by pressing menu>idcopy>left>right>menu>back>menu ,then in data setup clear all memory and clear count

replace belt,take drum out slide transfer belt wich is located ontop of drum.see how it is connected,slides in/out.
