Are you mechanically inclined? You may have several problems. 1st, heating element is most likely burnt out. Then I would check ball and socket assembly that back of drum fits into. Also check felt in front of machine that drum rides on. May need competent service person on this.

dryewr is not getting hot

if the motor is running,your belt is the problem.if all you hear is a slight humming noise,you may have a bad motor,or something caught in blower. if the drum turns easily by hand,its probably the belt

I would say your right on track, check your heating coil when you locate it also...just in case.

One of the switches that controls the heating element has not closed.

You will have to unplug dismantle and retrace your steps, it simply seems that one of your connections hasn't been completely made.

along back edge are 4 screws remove and slide top forward
