When washing it stays long on 4min or at time 6min. What do i do. It is still new less than 2 months

  • Anonymous Mar 09, 2010

I don't know if this is normal. I use another product before now and it wasn't like this. Even though this one (LG) is superior in functions, what i need to ascertain is that for the machine to finish washing, spining and the timing remains stagnant at 4min or 6min. Is this part of the new technology

If its new, call the warranty service number- it should be in your user manual. Any fault will be repaired free of charge under manufacturer's warranty.

If machine does eventually go right thru cycle, and displays "0", then machine is OK. The minutes remaining are a guide, not actual minutes, and time countdown can depend on other factors eg size of load etc. However, if display remains on 4 or 6 minutes for an extended period of time and does not count down to zero, then you have a fault and should call for service.

My dishwasher is seeming to stay on the wash cycle. How long is a normal wash cycle?

Dishwashers today use a lot less water and energy to do this they filter the water like crazy this makes the wash times go way up, the motor used today uses only a little power so a long cycle does not cost much.

They average wash time for a new machine is 90 - 120 minutes. Some high efficiency units can run 4 hours per cycle.

Heat does not stay on

Check the high limit thermostat. You can check it using a multimeter or ohmmeter. If bad, replace it. Hope this helped.

My camera (canon powershot a590) wont upload videos over 6min.

Please see the following blog article, as it describes the use of a card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue:

On sensor dry, dryer remains at 1 minute for hours...will not shut off automatically

I'm sorry to hear of your problem with your LG dryer. I have one as well and it works very well. I found my owners manual. It has a web site WWW.LGSERVICE.com. They also have a toll free number 1-877-714-7486. Perhaps either of these will help you find an answer. Good Luck
