SOURCE: sound is not working, i

it's gone...many users are victims of this stupid AUTO update from Microsoft....
the update makes changes to the IRQ of the soundcard chip in the motherboard and then the chip gets corrupted.....DEAD
the best alternative is to buy a 1$ USB sound adaptor from Ebay....

and conenct that to the USB port and connect the speakers to the sound out jack in that...it also has the MIC port also....
I am also a victim of this and use the USB adaptor for the past 3 yrs....though i have a fair idea of computer systems, and being a tech engineer and been in this line since 1988, i failed to figure out why MS still continues to update and spoil people's HWs....guess it's a business strategy by MS and other HW mfgs to make you buy new PC and upgrade to Win7...

god save this world...from corrupt and selfish businessmen
