Try formatting the card via the camera, that should get rid of them. Once formatted, take a photo and try deleting.

It may be worth trying another card to establish whether is a card or a camera problem.

There's a third option. Many cameras have a feature which protects pictures from deletion, if they're protected they cant be deleted.

My Motorola Tundra won't send or receive texts. It won't even go into the message or voicemail section. If you keep trying, it will shut down and restart. Everything else works okay.

My Tundra did the same thing I fixed it, give this a try, main menu-settings- phone settings- Reset-Reset all data (code is 6 zeros...example 000000) then , delete All data(code 000000), hope it works for you!

My camera says card protected and won't record.

There is a tiny switch on the left side of the card. One setting is to lock it....the opposite way is to open it for taking pics. It's a safety so you can't accidentallybigdtexan_1.jpg delete any pictures, but also won't let you take any more. (see pic)

We have a Nikon Coolpix L11 camera and it will suddenly not download/transfer pics - on any program and only 65% on the supplied program. The camera is only used a few times per month and pics are...

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.
