How do i change the program speed on my elite hd power chair

You need a programmer (a PP1) that will allow uo to increase the factory speed. But it's probably set at 100% already. Other than setting the speed on the joystick to full and changing the programmed speed will you be able to get the chair 's speed increased

The speed lights keep flashing. It still moves.

The speed light flashing usually indicate that the chair is in "Limp Mode" This could be either the motor is getting too hot or the chair has a lift on the seat. If the chair runs fine for a while and then this condition appears, you may have a bad motor or a brake dragging causing the motor to get hot. the controller will allow less power to the motors to help it cool down and still keep you mobile. If you have a lift on the chair that raises up the chair, you will have to lower the chair down to gain the full power back. If neither one of these solutions are the problem, then you will need a Tech to come out and look at the problem. you may have a more serious problem that a tech can troubleshoot.

How do you increase the speed in Jet3 power chair

I take it you are talking about increasing the maximum speed beyond the maximum the chair is set for now! the max listed speed for the jet 3 is 4mps, so if your chair is doing that there is only changing a load of hardware to increase speed past that (it is very costly) if your chair is second hand it may be that the chairs programming has been changed to reduce the max speed say for in-door use or for elderly with slow reactions to better control the chair, if that is the case it depends on the controller you have it would need a programmer box, you can buy these on ebay and the like or you could take it to a mobility shop and see if they will change it, a lot of these shops will offer to do it free to try and get your future custom, it only takes a couple of mins, most will just plug in to the charge / data port on the controller, select from the menu and adjust the speed etc. hope that helps.

Pride Motor Chair 2008 Vr2 Controller Speed adjustment lights go to fast setting but chair barely crawls along!

Great question! The slow flash is indicative of a speed reduced mode on models designed for a seat lift option. If the controller detects that the seat is elevated then the speed is reduced - regardless of what you try to do at the joystick.
First - try lowering the seat to its lowest position.
If this doesnt work then look for a bad or disconnected sensor switch on the seat post. There are two leads at a 2-pin plug that are not making a connection when the seat is lowered - causing the controller to sense the chair is not safe to drive fast.

The lights that indicate the speed are flashing and the wheelchair only will go very slow. What does that indicate. Sometimes when I fiddle wit5h the seat up and down it will go right but then next time it...

there is a switch or potentiometer on your seat, that sends a signal to the chair to drive slowely when tilted or reclined, this is called drive lockout, you may have a malfunction or the provider didn't set it to a setting for your needs, contact them and ask for repair or reprograming which ever is the case, if that is a problem call 1-800-800-8586 talk to jazzy tech support they have a company called road runner for repairs etc.

Have a jazzy 1113. The speed profile lights flash then the chair shuts off. The batteries show full.

The flash of the speed lights indicate that you are in the charger inhibit mode and if the charger is not plugged in then you have a problem that needs to be checked by a tech or your provider that sold you your chair Sorry I don't have a quick fix

Wheel chair won't move. Batteries have been charging for several hours and have some charge but chair will not move.Any suggestions? Thanks

Romp, Did you check the freewheel levers chair will not move if you are in freewheel. Levers are in front next to seat posts and need to be facing forward. If you are not in freewheel then check the number of lights you have on on the joystick and that they aren't flashing. Also check that your speed control is not on the lowest setting even with some charge a slow speed setting will not let the chair move. Now by some charge you mean lights in the green on the joystick? If the lights aren't flashing then I'm kinda unsure other than even with some charge the batteries don't have enuf current to drive the motors and need to be replaced Hoe this helps

My speed indicator lights are constintly flashing- the chair works fine though

You don't say what sort of chair you have, but if it has tilt or power seating system, the speed lights flashing could be a power-limiting warning, which means you have the seat tilted or raised too high for full power so it is limited to going slow. Lower seat and then try to drive it an normal speed. If the seat isn't tilted or raised and lights are flashing, then the switch on the chair that senses the height or the tile is probably faulty and would require replacement. Do NOT disable or bypass the switch as it is a safety device to prevent unsafe operation.
