Samsung hpr4252x/xaa 42 inch plazma has perfect picture in about 8 inches of the middle of screen from left to right.Top 8 inches and bottom 7 inches ; have lines going across,but you can see the picture thru the lines.
You have a burn in problem from watching widescreen movies.If you have access to a signal generator or tv setup disc run a perfectly white screen on the plasma for about 30 min.This should help even out the pixels on the display.

tried but ** luck.I got a**ther fix tip which i am going to try.A**ther repair shop in buffalo,told me that the fix was to change both buffer boards. The part numbers are BN96-02034A and BN96-02216A. I am going to order these 2 buffer boards and replace them and see what happens. Everybody keep trying to help one a**ther. With the industry going the way it is, we need all the help we can get.
Diamontv, Did the buffer boards correct your problem? I have same model and had same "good horizontal band of perfect picture but upper 1/3 and lower 2/3 had multicolored lines like very small venetian blinds but you could see picture through them. Definitely, not a burn in issue.
