The Olympus compatibility chart on their website says that your camera works with type M and M+ sizes 256MB - 512MB. The chart also says 256MB - 512MB for type H and 16MB - 512MB for standard xD cards. It looks like the largest size xD you can use of any type is 512MB. The D560 is quite an early digital camera and it is not unusual to have card size limitations.
pls format the card in Camera thru menu options u will see FORMAT option use it and then check otherwise , first format it on PC and choose FAT16 to format the card and then format one more time on the camera it will work definately
The problem is that the largest xD card that your camera can support is an M or H 512mb card. The 1gb card is not compatible. The firmware in the camera cannot support memory storage with that capacity. The camera came out before those cards did and there no plans to upgrade the camera to allow those types of cards to be supported.

As far as the 128mb card is concerned if it gets a card error message try cleaning off the gold contacts on the back of the card and reinserting it to the camera. If it still gives an error it may be a problem with the internal card reader in the camera.
Hmm.. Wired. Since you will be using it on thenPhone try formating it from the phone. any way if does not format on the phone, insert back to te computer, left click on my computer go to manage, click disk managment & see if you can see the SD there try formatting from there

I get the same error message with Olympus 2GB xd M card. I tried formatting as described on http://www.fixya.com/support/p223298-fuji_finepix_a350_digital_camera/manual-1371/page-27 and page 28 but it did not work for me. :-((
The largest xD card which can be used in this camera is 2GB. If the card is larger than that then it wont work. This camera has both internal and card memory. Try using the camera without the card or with a smaller card.
