When I plug into usb it doesnt recognize it

Iden phone motorola driver package. They have usb charging drivers for it.

Their tricky though to instal so unless you have the time and patients. I'd stick to wall charging.

HOWTO_Connect How to connect Motorola W375 to a Windows computer Introduction¶ This document describes how to connect your Motorola W375 to your computer in order to use it as a modem, or to administer it with Motorola W375 Manager software.
Connecting¶ To connect your motorola W375, follow the next steps:

• Download and uncompress Motorola W375 Driver from this site.
• Connect your W375 to your computer with its lid closed.

(You can also connect the device with its lid open, and choose "not" when it asks for permission to connect as an storage device)

• When Windows asks you for a driver, select Motorola W375 driver folder.

This way, the next time you connect your mobile phone closed, your computer will recognize it as a new communications port and you are ready to use it with Motorola W375 Manager. Using it as a modem¶ To use your mobile phone as a modem, install "Standard 19200 Modem" driver and select the communications port associated to your motorola W375.
About Motorola W375 driver¶ Motorola W375 driver is basically the same driver known as Motorola USB Charging Driver. You can download Motorola USB Charging driver from motorola US support web site for Motorola W375. If you try to use Motorola USB Charging driver directly with your Motorola W375, device type will not be recognized, but if you change device ID from "USB\VID_2811&PID_0702" to "USB\VID_22b8&PID_4061", this usb charging driver will become completely compatible with wour Motorola W375 mobile phone. The driver you can download from this site, is exactly a Motorola USB Charging driver with the mentioned modification.

Mine is Motorola SLVR L6 but you might try this on your phone.

Instructions

To charge your mobile with usb cable you should install a driver called as mobile phone usb driver ,if you install it you can charge your mobile through PC.

If still it doesnt charges then install the PC CHARGING DRIVER.

You need Motorola Mobile Phone USB Drivers (for Windows) and this USB Driver is used for connecting your Motorola Mobile Phone to a Windows computer via a USB cable in order to charge your phone or to access the data on your phone.

Replace the data cord and try to connect it will work

Your charger is faulty. If your phone is able to charge off of other sources (computer, car charger, another wall charger) Then, the charger needs to be replaced. Some mobile companies have a 90 warranty on accessories like the charger and battery. Then the mobile manufacture (Motorola) has a 1 year warranty on the charge and battery. I would check on that, and get those replaced.

Since you havent got USB (I assume an older or non functional usb port) buy a serial data cable with one end the serial connector and at the other end the mini usb connector to plug in the phone.

You have to use software as well such as Motorola Mobile PhoneTools which is free.

Try using MyJal Apollo Edition Software instead. I downloaded it and the Crack for it on LimeWire in a zip file for free. It works great. Also you need to download the Motorola USB Cable Driver from idenupdate.com
