Sound Driver Problem For Windows Ultimate 7

I suggest you try the vista sound driver, when windows 7 is not supported.
The vista driver sometimes work, on your windows system.

Please ensure that your bios setting is enabled for audio.
1. Have you installed the correct windows 7 driver or have you configured with the vista driver?
2. If you have installed with windows 7 driver, check it for 32 bit or 64 bit and you are installed perfectly!
3. Check the windows service. Go to "run", type "services.msc" and press enter. In that opened window, direct to "windows audio". Open it and check the service is started or not. Also ensure that the startup type is set to be "automatic".

Hello, you need to install the sound drivers that are ment for your sound card hardware, depends entirely on the brand and model of the computer. the drivers are available often from the brands own website.

You don't need to install the audio driver at all, because the Windows Se7en has in-built audio, video and many other drivers from Microsoft Corporation. When you will be installing the Windows Se7en, the drivers will be automatically installed in your system. But still, if you want to install audio drivers manually from your motherboard disk, you will have to check whether your motherboard fully supports the Windows Se7en or not.

Hopefully the driver will enable the audio on the board. Don't be surprised if it won't install because your motherboard was not designed for Win 7.

i have ASUS P5GL MX Motherboard yesterday i installed win 7 ultimate so that i want display driver

download updated drivers from the Intel website, (choose the relevent chipset for the board, there should be vista compatible drivers available.)

Now there is a new driver for sound which can be downloaded from the ASUSwebsite. Another thing is that is an old ver motherboard and might not be compatible with win 7. Try installing XP_Pro and see if it works then................sodeep.
