Re: Change Blade on Venetian Blinds
Here's a link to some info on restringing blinds which you'll have to do if you replace the blinds. For the trouble I would just get new blinds. Working with blinds can be frustrating even after you've done it a few times. On the other hand, it's fun to learn a new skill. Good luck!

Usually the edge of the blade just needs scrubbed with a kitchen scrubber to get them working well again. If that doesn't work, then the people at an auto parts store like Auto-Zone will help you change it. You'll have to buy them from an auto parts store to get help. Wal-Mart won't help you.
OK this problem is caused by a failing electrolytic capacitor back in the power supply. It's job is to filter AC interfence from that voltage source. Locating the correct capacitor is something not for a do-it-yourselfer. A respectable tv shop experienced with Mitsubishi tv's can usually repair this problem in your home. Average repair cost would be between $200 and $300.
there are plastic gear inside of the top rail. you need to take the blind down and look inside. it may have some of the gear damaged. in which case the gear need to be replaced. unfortunately, there is no place sells the gear. only the rail.
that means you have to buy a new rail and go through the trouble of re-thread all of the control lines. if you are not handy, I suggest you take the blind to a repair shop.
If you're having like a bright picture with venetian blinds, you could try the steps below:
POWER RESET: - Turn off camera - Remove batteries for a minute - Return batteries - Turn on camera
MASTER RESET - Turn on camera - Press MENU button - Scroll to the right until you see SETUP - Scroll down and look for RESET - Press right button so you could see YES or NO - Select YES - Press MENU button - Turn off camera for a few seconds so that settings will be refreshed
* If it still does not work, call the Manufacturer so they could tell you how to send camera for repair.
