From what you have described your Frigidaire oven lock is stuck open and you are receiving error codes "F9" and "DR". The "F9" error code stands for runaway temperature (overheating). I just had the same problem! If I ever see that f9 again and hear that annoying constant beep....I will pick up and dispose of that oven on the front lawn. Lol. Took a pair of pliers and turned the lock clock wise till the light went out. Silence!

Thanks for using FixYa. F9 error in your oven/range indicates an issue with the door locks assembly and/or the door latch. To start with check the door lock circuit, you can also try to jump start it to see if it's working. If it's not working then the Electronic Range control has gone bad and should be replaced, if it is working then the door lock circuit should be replaced. The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

can you tell me the model # on your stove please?

Press the self-clean button.  The panel becomes blank(---), then press the up arrow( ^ ).  The panel will appear 3:00 (indication for the duration of self-cleaning). The oven will lock on its own and start the self-cleaning.  Good luck, ya'll!
